When the meteorite fell in Siberia in 1947, the population of that area thought that the Second World War continued. A sample of that, but also replicas of the meteorites that fell on the territory of Serbia, are part of the exhibition "Stones of Heaven" of the Natural History Center of Serbia Svilajnac. With the grand opening this spring, the center announces a new attractive season.
Get to know the universe through the most diverse collection of meteorites in Serbia. Each of them is much more than an ordinary celestial stone, each of them keeps a secret, carries a story and wants to pass it on to you.
Spring at the museum is a real treat for dinosaurs lovers as well. A 70-million-year-old fossil animal awaits them. Take a peek into their world to meet the Mosasaurus.
The Natural History Center is also known for its interactive programs. This trend is carried on into this season as well, in order to preserve the reputation of a tourist attraction that all generations enjoy equally, due to a perfect combination of science, education, culture and entertainment.
In addition to exhibitions, the upcoming season will be enriched with entertainment that will attract even more visitors. So far, about 100,000 visitors a year have searched for new scientific knowledge an the museum.
