"Capital of Culture of Serbia" is a title that Cacak will proudly carry in 2023. It was unanimously elected in the competition of 18 local governments and will be the first city to carry that epithet. In order to justify the trust, the project will, the organizers announce, combine tradition, present and future.

Through 50 cultural events, guests will have the opportunity to get acquainted with the glorious history, famous people of the area, the rich heritage that the hosts will present in full glory. Cacak will host world names from various fields of artistic creation, and certain parts of the city will get a completely new look.

One of the most important spa, recreational and sports centers in Serbia will be easier to reach because the completion of the roads leading through the gorge is planned.
