One of the 50 most beautiful streets in the world is located in our country, in Kikinda town. It is Generala Drapšina Street, which gained this recognition in 2015, based on the decision of the well-known architecture website, “Architecture & Design”. Since then, this street has been an unavoidable point in the tourist offer of Kikinda. It boasts of an alley of “American nettle” or as the people of Kikinda call it – pincike. Each tree has its own health card and they are taken care of by professional services for environmental protection.

It is the most beautiful when it is the greenest, i.e. in May and June, and this natural tunnel, during the greatest summer heat, lowers the temperature by up to 5–6 degrees.

According to world standards ranked as 22nd, while number 1 in the opinion of the people of Kikinda, Generala Drapšina Street can be a starting point this season when visiting this Banat region town, which offers numerous other reasons to choose it this summer.
