"There is no end, no beginning, there is only the infinite passion of life" - the iconic statement of the Italian director Federico Fellini was the inspiration for this year's FEST. With the slogan "Passion of life" and the visual identity of the 51st FEST, the organizers wanted to mark half a century of the film Amarcord and at the same time pay tribute to the great master of the seventh art.
During this year's International Film Festival, which takes place from February 24 to March 5, more than 100 films will be screened. The audience will be able to watch the best cinema works of the world in nine cinema halls. The repertoire includes films that have already been awarded at other festivals, as well as titles that have recently premiered.
In addition to applause, the best will be handed awards. The prestigious Belgrade Winner Award for outstanding contribution to film art will be awarded to director Lordan Zafranović and producer Dobrivoj Tanasijević Dan Tana.
The festival will be an opportunity for young artists to learn from the best creators, to meet their colleagues and present their works. Statistics predict a large audience. Since its foundation, the festival has had around four million viewers and almost 4,000 important world films.
