As of tomorrow, 17 May, Air Serbia will start selling tickets for 12 routes of public importance departing from Niš Airport.
The first flights of the national carrier of the Republic of Serbia will take off from 15 July to Nuremburg, Frankfurt (Hahn), Hanover, Friedrichshafen, Karlsruhe, Salzburg, Rome, Bologna, Budapest, Gothenburg, Ljubljana and Tivat. Return airfares can be purchased for as low as EUR 48, all taxes included, for flights to Gothenburg and Tivat.
Niš will be connected to these 12 European cities in Germany, Austria, Italy, Hungary, Sweden, Slovenia and Montenegro with at least two flights per week.
"Our aim is to enable the citizens of Niš to fly under the most favorable possible conditions to these 12 destinations on offer. The flights will be performed using an Airbus A319 aircraft in Air Serbia livery. We will provide Serbian hospitality to our passengers at the best possible prices" - Air Serbia's CEO Duncan Naysmith stated at the occasion.
Air Serbia will perform flights from Niš on the basis of the international tender procedure for routes of public importance initiated by the Government of Serbia. This tender procedure will allow for the establishment of links between 10 regions in southern Serbia with six European Union member states and Montenegro.
