World Tourism Day (WTD) is celebrated every year on September 27 highlighting the social, cultural, and political values​​ and the importance of tourism globally. WTD 2015 is being held under the theme “One billion tourists – one billion opportunities” celebrating the transformative potential of one billion tourists.

In Serbia, NTOS will traditionally host an annual tourism awards ceremony – The Tourism Flower, the highest national award in the field of tourism. Additionally, winners of the national competition for the European Destinations of Excellence (EDEN) will be awarded. This year’s ceremony will be held at the Serbia Palace, on 26^th September at 12 PM.
