DUŽIJANCA

A traditional harvest-time custom consisting of the weaving of wreaths from the last sheaf of wheat, which is then taken to church to be blessed. The entire event takes approximately тwо months. It ends with a ceremonious procession of the participants dressed in national costume, and riding in elaborately decorated, horse-drawn carriages.
