Every year in August, the largest youth festival in Serbia – Lovefest – is held in Vrnjačka Banja. This festival dedicated to love started as a party near the Bridge of Love, the famous tourist attraction of Vrnjačka Banja, one of the most visited spas in our country.
As the festival developed, the location was changed several times. Lovefest is now held in a large city park near Vrnjačko lake, where the Lovefest camp is also located, which is an ideal space that can accommodate thousands of people.
To date, the festival has grown into a three-day event that takes place on several stages, has hosted hundreds of performers from all over the world, and breaks records every year when it comes to foreign visitors. It has become a festival of global proportions!
Along with Exit in Novi Sad, Lovefest, as a representative of Serbia, is on the list of DJ Mag, a prestigious magazine that selects the 100 best world festivals every year based on global research and audience voting. Lovefest took a high 35th position at the world level.
Lovefest was originally an electronic music festival, but it has developed over the years and introduced new music genres, as well as new programme zones such as Photo, Cinema, Graffiti, Chill, Eco, Workshop, Street Basket, Extreme and Kids zone.
However, the festival is most recognisable for the famous big rave party, which promotes urban culture and art, magnificent fireworks and scenography on stage.
Through its programme activities and zones, Lovefest pays special attention to the promotion and recognition of young talents in various fields with an emphasis on those who live and work in central Serbia. A significant segment of the festival is dedicated to ecology and humanitarian work through various humanitarian actions and donations.
The festival atmosphere under a clear sky in a park full of greenery will not leave anyone indifferent, and visitors can prepare for this event in advance. In addition to the festival itself, the Lovefest organisers organise parties throughout the year with the world’s greatest DJs.
